It was born as a masculine undergarment in the Middle Ages as a blouse in cotton or in woven linen and was used as an intermediate layer between the body and the outer layer.

In the nineteenth century, with the change of production techniques, patterns were modified by more tight ones and wool and knitting began to be incorporated. The T-shirt was already considered an indispensable garment to protect against the cold and it was not only a matter of men: women began to use them instead of corsets.

Since then and from the twentieth century, the business of the shirts shot up. They started to be worn directly as an outer layer, Hollywood began to introduce them in their films for their sex appeal and the fact of being an unisex garment made Marlon Brando or James Dean, among others, show a point of rebellion when wearing them.

It has been a lot since then and they are still fashionable for their comfort. Plain, with messages, like a T, without sleeves … Here you are some:
